Located in Wanhua District of Taipei City, Taiwan, Wanhua Mongjia Longshan Temple is one of the most famous worshipped temples in Taiwan. Wanhua Mongjia Longshan Temple is settled north facing south, worships Guanshiyin Budda and other divine spirits. The temple was first built during Qing Dynasty, and undergone several renovations due to damages caused by men. Longshan Temple is now recognized as a Tier-Second historical site of Taiwan, being one of the four must-see attractions in Taipei. The three other must-see attractions include Taipei 101, National Palace Museum and Chiang-Kai Shek Memorial Hall.

Conceded one of the oldest and resplendent Buddhist temples in Taiwan, it has the best traditional temple architectures of Chinese temples. Built in a three-sectional shaped design with bronze dragons on right and left pillars symbolizing protections to the main hall, and decorations of delicate sculptures, detailed wood carvings and gorgeous Buddha settled in the main hall. Furthermore, with a mass of Chinese poems, verses, and phrases onsite representing values of the religion and Chinese culture. Through visiting this magnificent temple, visitors will have a detailed understanding of Chinese traditional architectures and religion.

During the first and fifteenth day of each month of the lunar calendar, numerous worshippers would visit the temple for ceremonies. Besides, visitors may also join the lamp fairs and other activities held on historical festivals.
