Penghu Fireworks Festival is an extravaganza that kicks off every April-June, attracting thousands of visitors greet the coming summer season with the beautiful fireworks show.

For the 11th straight year, 2014 Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival is set to light up Penghu’s beautiful night skies on the 14th April. Featuring two firework displays every week (on Monday and Thursday) from 4/14~6/19, 21:00pm till 21:15pm during the festival period. The Penghu Firework Festival is one of Penghu’s top summer events, and huge numbers turned up to Taiwan’s Penghu to witness the spectacular firework shows that Penghu Ocean Fireworks Festival has to offer. The opening ceremony for the festival will start on 4/18 at 19:30 till 21:00; visitors will be able to enjoy various shows, activities and stage performances. This festival will last for two months and a total of 20 sessions will be held during this period.

Penghu is a charming island, which has another beautiful name - the Chrysanthemum Island.
